On the 11th of February, we proudly celebrate International Women and Girls in Science Day and honour the immense impact that women have on the world of science and innovation. At EU PAL-COPD, we are proud of our diverse team of brilliant scientists with a strong representation of women leaders. Our project is dedicated to promoting gender balance, with 50% of our team comprising women. We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all, and we are excited to play our part in inspiring and empowering the next generation of female scientists.
Join us as we celebrate this significant day and hear from our colleague, Nancy Preston, Professor and Co-Director in the International Observatory on End of Life Care within the Faculty of Health and Medicine at Lancaster University. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate and celebrate the incredible contributions of women and girls in science and their impact on society.
