We are proud to announce that our partners from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) will be taking part in the XI National Congress and II International Congress of the Portuguese Association for Palliative Care on October 10-12, 2024. This event is a valuable opportunity for professionals, researchers, and experts in palliative care to gather and exchange knowledge and ideas.
One of the highlights of this congress will be a Session on the participation of Portugal in EU-funded projects, taking place on Thursday, October 10 from 18:15 to 19:30 (local time). This session will feature presentations on various projects, including EU PAL-COPD. Our project partner and UCP team leader, Sandra Martins Pereira, will present on behalf of the EU PAL-COPD team during this session. Our UCP partner, Pablo Hernández-Marrero, will lead a workshop on Empowering Leadership, focusing on competencies within EU-funded projects on the same day. Additionally, on Saturday, October 12, Sandra will speak at a Meet the Expert session on Ethics in Palliative Care Research.
We are excited to have such a strong presence of EU PAL-COPD at the congress and we hope that our project will contribute to the advancement of palliative care in Europe. We look forward to seeing you all there and to engaging in fruitful discussions and collaborations.
