The event will take place on Tuesday, 4 February, 2025, from 16:30 to 17:30 at the Auditoire Alexandre Yersin, CHUV in Lausanne and will also be accessible in a hybrid format.

Prof. Dr. Martins Pereira, who is one of the Principal Investigators in the EU-funded project EU PAL-COPD, will deliver a compelling presentation titled “Developing Complex Interventions for the Integration of Palliative Care Across Clinical Settings: An Overview of Ethical Perspectives and Implications.”

This is particularly relevant for individuals with intricate palliative care needs, including those in Intensive Care, Burn Intensive Care, Nursing Homes, Psychiatry, Pneumology, and Oncology.

During her presentation, Prof. Dr. Martins Pereira will highlight the EU PAL-COPD project delving into the ethical implications and research ethics challenges faced during the implementation of the project, touching on critical factors such as ethics of care, equity and justice, and decision-making processes.
