Today, on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the EU PAL-COPD consortium proudly joins the global community in recognising and celebrating the extraordinary contributions of women and girls in the scientific community.
At EU PAL-COPD, we believe that diversity is a driving force behind innovation. A diverse research environment fosters more creative, inclusive and impactful solutions to some of society’s most pressing challenges. With 50% of our team composed of women, we are committed to creating a collaborative space where female scientists, clinicians and researchers are empowered to lead, thrive, and shape the future of healthcare.
To mark this important day, we invited several of our women partners across Europe to share their advice and inspiration for the next generation of female scientists. Their insights highlight the importance of curiosity, confidence, and community in science — and remind us all of the importance of making science accessible and inclusive for everyone.
