At the Dutch-Flemish Scientific Days for Palliative Care on 9–10 October 2025, our partner Manon Wubbels (Radboud University Medical Center) will present her poster titled: “Stikangst bij patiënten met chronische longziekten: een flashmobstudie.”
The study focuses on fear of suffocation in patients with chronic respiratory diseases, including COPD, sharing results from a flashmob trial on its prevalence and offering insights, experiences, and recommendations from patients and healthcare professionals.
While not directly part of the EU PAL-COPD project, this research is closely aligned with its objectives to improve care and communication for people living with COPD and their families.
