EU PAL-COPD contributes to ERS Virtual School on Living and Dying with Chronic Lung Disease
Join the European Respiratory Society (ERS) for the upcoming educational course, the Virtual School on Living and Dying with Chronic Lung Disease, taking place online on 7 November 2025.
This one-day event will provide an overview of palliative and supportive care for patients with chronic lung disease, covering topics such as:
Symptom management
Multidisciplinary collaboration
The role of informal caregivers
We are proud to share that Professor Nancy Preston from Lancaster University, a partner in the EU-funded project EU PAL-COPD, will contribute to the course. She will deliver a presentation on “Advanced Care Planning” at 09:35–09:55 CET, sharing insights developed through the EU PAL-COPD project. In addition, Professor Preston will participate in the panel discussion titled “Symptom management, planning, and support for patients & caregivers” (12:00–12:45 CET), alongside other leading experts in palliative and respiratory care.
