The End-of-Life Care Research Group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB Brussels) conducts high-quality scientific research in end-of-life care in Belgium, across Europe and beyond. Researchers from different scientific backgrounds work in a common research structure to facilitate interdisciplinary collaborative research.

The group is focused on supervision of PhD students and on collaboration with clinical departments of the university hospital. The End-of-Life Care Research Group covers a wide range of health services and public health related research projects and has extensive experience with international EU funded projects.

Role within EU PAL-COPD

Project Coordinator and Lead of the project management (WP1), the RCT study (WP5) and co-lead of Data analyses (WP7).
